Kathleen is an outstanding local representative. She's a champion for all of the communities in Don Valley West and that's why she has my full support in this election.
We are fortunate to be represented by Kathleen Wynne. Her passion for community and commitment to social justice are unparallelled. Whether the issue is bedbugs in Thorncliffe Park or transit on Eglinton, Kathleen is there fighting for our community. Kathleen Wynne is a leader and we need her at Queen's Park.
Kathleen's proactive, hands-on approach shows her strong commitment to her constituency and passion for her work. Kathleen is a dedicated community leader and an invaluable advocate for the residents of Don Valley West.
Kathleen Wynne was one of the most effective ministers of education as she worked to reverse the damage of the previous government while fostering a positive climate for improvement. This was in large part because of her fundamental respect for teachers and her desire to work with us and not against us. That’s how you build one of the best publicly funded school systems in the world.
Kathleen is an outstanding leader who demonstrates integrity, wisdom and a passion for service. As Education Minister, she won the hearts of students, staff and parents and, at the same time, provided the leadership and support to enable us to be world leaders in student achievement.
I will again be supporting Kathleen Wynne as our Member of Provincial Parliament for Don Valley West. She has outstanding credentials as a community activist, and as someone who believes that government is an instrument that can be used to make our lives better. She understands her diverse constituency and truly acts as the representative of all the people of Don Valley West. She is a highly respected leader and decision-maker as a Cabinet Minister. As Minister of Education she brought in full day kindergarten, and as Minister of Transportation she is driving the Eglinton-Crosstown Light Rail Transit. To do all this she is the highly adaptable multi-tasker who deftly handles the complexities of provincial policy, and the minutae of individuals’ issues. We need Kathleen Wynne in Don Valley West.
As a business leader and a constituent who has worked closely with Kathleen, I know her to be informed, knowledgeable, highly intelligent and approachable. Kathleen understands business and is absolutely committed to building a strong Ontario economy by fostering a pro-business environment focused on job creation and innovation.
We are very fortunate to have someone of MPP Wynne’s integrity, intelligence, and work ethic serving as our representative at Queen’s Park. She has always supported our community initiative with her presence and her constructive nonpartisan approach gets results.
The current economic issues of the 2011 campaign for an MPP are not just matters of political change, party affiliation or personality. They cannot be solved simply by coming at them with a fresh perspective. They require vision, hard choices, innovative responses, strong leadership and the guts to say no, even to supporters. They demand that voters choose an MPP fully prepared -- ready now, not later -- to lead Ontario forward. Kathleen is that person.
Kathleen’s commitment to the community is amazing. It is hard to come by someone with so much energy and drive and I don’t know how Kathleen manages to be everywhere and also to keep on top of so many pressing agendas. The thing that impresses me most about her is her genuine concern for people and her willingness to help in order to make a difference in the lives of people.
Kathleen Wynne has been interested, committed and staunchly supportive of Community Health Centres even before she became a provincial politican! The medical, non-medical services and programs this centre provides have been an integral part of the communities we serve for the last 30+ years and we are delighted that Kathleen is running again.
What I always say to people is that if we could only get more people of Kathleen’s calibre (intelligence, wisdom, compassion etc.) to stand for politics, the country would be a better place. She is rare!
Kathleen is a very positive, inspiring, caring leader. Kathleen makes herself available, is interested and takes the time to listen to the concerns of the people. Kathleen actively organizes meetings to openly solicit feedback on issues. Kathleen engages the people, listening to their concerns with interest, acknowledging that her job is to bring forward these concerns of the people to the legislature. That's refreshing!
I have great respect for the character, integrity and passion that Kathleen Wynne demonstrates in fulfilling her portfolios. Her keen intellect along with hard work reinforces a feeling of confidence that the job will get done. The Herbert H. Carnegie Future Aces Foundation is especially grateful to her for taking the time to understand the value of our initiatives and for her ongoing support in helping us make a difference in enriching the lives of thousands of youth. Kathleen has been there for us when we needed her, demonstrating that action speaks louder than words.
Kathleen has been a great supporter of community services within the Don Valley West area and has provided great leadership in ensuring that the needs of the community are being met. In particular, her support of seniors in this area has been outstanding and Kathleen has always made it appoint to attend special events at Better Living to support our seniors. One of the things that I always admired about Kathleen was her willingness to address groups of seniors in our community and handle the tough questions that were asked of her. Kathleen never avoided dealing with controversy or difficult issues and always provided sound reasoning in presenting her perspective and respected the concerns of community members equally as well. I think the sign of a true leader is having the ability to stand in front of your constitutes in the good and the bad times. As Kathleen’s political career grew and she took on important Cabinet positions, she did not lose sight of the local community and the needs of the community. Kathleen has always been accessible to everyone in the community including Better Living Health and Community Services. Her leadership and guidance has been a great asset to Don Valley West and to me personally as President and CEO of Better Living Health and Community Services.
I first met Kathleen Wynne when our children were in school together and was immediately impressed by her enthusiasm and dedication to making the school system the best it could it be for all children. Her dedication and advocacy help the community, and her beliefs and principles inspire us. Don Mills FHT and community members appreciate her efforts and contribution. She is a strong voice for Don Valley West.
I have known Kathleen since she was first elected. Her organizational skills in staying in touch with riding residents has been outstanding. The Town Hall meetings held over the years involving members from other levels of government have been most successful. Her Seniors Advisory Committee, established very early in her term, has been a most effective two-way street in communicating with seniors.
For You Telecare Family Service (FUTFS) is happy to endorse Kathleen Wynne. She is a knowledgeable and passionate MPP who advocates for all ethnic communities in Don Valley West. She is a strong advocate for tenants, always doing everything she can to address the needs of tenants while maintaining strong working relationships with the landlords. She is also a powerful voice for the most disadvantaged. We need to vote to return her to Queen’s Park.
Kathleen Wynne has been the greatest white knight of them all in our work to develop the Go Green Cricket Field at Valley Park Middle School. We are moving forward with this project and we would not be where we are today without her. Simply put. We cannot say enough about what Kathleen has done for us and continues to do.
Kathleen Wynne is champ in the eyes of all of us at Yes I Can! Nursery School. Kathleen has been a tireless advocate at Queen’s Park, and she has stood by us, celebrated with us and is always responsive to our calls – and a good sport to boot! Thank you, Kathleen!

Kathleen is committed to seniors -- to engaging them and to doing the work required to help older people live at home with as much dignity and independence as possible. She is an important voice in Don Valley West to advance the issues that will help ensure a good quality of life for our aging population.
Kathleen is a person of great integrity and intelligence, with a proven record in conflict resolution. She has served Ontarians first as School Trustee and then as the Education Minster. During the period of Liberal Government since 2003 our students have enjoyed great learning experience uninterrupted by strikes. The standard of our public education is steadily on the rise and school drop out rate has decreased drastically. Recently as the Minister of Transportation, Kathleen has strived to create world-class public transportation for Ontarians. Kathleen is a hard working, passionate advocate for the Don Valley West community, and we are proud to endorse her.

I'm impressed by how Kathleen fits everything into a day. She makes time to meet with individual constituents, or with groups who have an issue they'd like to discuss with her. She problem solves and works on issues, but also attends and participates in a huge number of community events. She is articulate and presents her thoughts well, whether it's on TV, radio, at an event, or one-on-one. I'm proud that Kathleen Wynne is the MPP for Don Valley West.

She is in touch with her constituents and is always advocating on their behalf. We sincerely believe that she is the most qualified for representing Don Valley West.
If and when I get to heaven, St. Peter may ask what I have done to make the world a better place. My answer would have to be: "I've voted for Kathleen Wynne."
